- bad weather option: entrance hall
- suitable from 16 years
- German version: Fri, May 23, 7pm & Sun, May 25, 4pm
The future starts now! But what is this often-invoked future? What air will we breathe? How free will we be? To get a little closer to these questions, the newly greened inner courtyard of the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum becomes a playing field. Between plants and idyll, it's all about the big picture: our common future!
The game is played in small groups: With personal anecdotes and creative tasks, we will reach the end of time. We shape our inner urge for freedom and bury what we have lost. We create our own personal dust and ask ourselves:
What wind should blow in the future and how can we set the necessary sails today? Inspired by the themes of the special exhibitions “The Air We Share” (until Oct. 26 at the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum) and ”Freedom. An Unfinished Story” (from Jun. 20 at the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum), the Garden at the End of Time offers ideas for thinking, experiencing and talking.
No preparation or prior knowledge is required to take part - but enjoyment of play, exchange and new perspectives as well as a good dose of curiosity are an advantage.
